I haven't written on this very much because it's just been everyday life taking place.  It's good to have the oldest girls home.  Eric Laing has the "dream" job.  The stuff he's doing in Alaska is what I've always wanted to do.  Maybe someday.

I'm getting to be an expert at finding good prices on airline tickets.  Just bought some for Colleen to fly to NY to be in her roomie's wedding and checking out prices for Mark and I to fly to Colorado for our niece's wedding.  This wedding stuff gets expensive!

We are done with sports for now and off to the arts.  Both girls had piano recitals on Saturday, did a good job.  Now it's band concerts tonight.  Guess we have to have a little culture in our lives.

Laura did well at state.  She didn't place or anything but had a PR for the year so she was happy.  At least I think she was, I was talking to her dad, he was happy.  Said it was worth the trip to Jacksonville.  She still hasn't beat her sister's record yet.  So Colleen, you still hold that #1 spot in the record books.

Laura qualified for the state track meet today by placing fourth in the pole vault at regionals.  You had to be in the top four to move on. She was SO HAPPY!

Carrie ran the race of her life.  Little 12 year old finished 5th in the 3200 meters putting her at #8 in the LCS record book for that event.  She ran a 12:55.  It was awesome.  Another PR, beat old record by 12 second.

Long day, left at 9:00 AM for track in St. Pete, returned home at 11:20.

I bought the girls a bouquet of flowers for Easter.  Marie tried to take hers and Colleen's back on the plane with her.  However, her allergies flared because they were nice smelling flowers and she got all red eyed and teary from carrying them around.  So, they didn't make it out of Mark's office.  Have to give them a rain check on flower I guess.

I don't know what is with me and fast food resturants.  I was on my way home from the Orlando airport and it was 2 PM and hadn't eaten all day.  So I decided to go to get off at 27 and grab something.  Went through the drive through at Burger King and ordered a drink, fish sandwich and onion rings.  I decided traffic was too heavy to try and drive and eat so pulled in a parking place.  Got out my book and munched on my onion rings.  However, when I got to my sandwich it was a whopper and chicken tenders and my Coke was regular which I hate.  I took it back in and waited in line forever, to wait forever to exchange my food.  I should have gotten something free.  Oh well, I'm too nice I guess.
